VoxQuote is free forever for apprentices. Here's why.
Australian apprentices earn somewhere between $450 and $750 a week depending on year and trade. That's take-home, not revenue — and most apprentices won't start sending their own quotes until year 3 or 4. Charging an apprentice $48/mo for a quoting tool they barely use yet is a tax on the future of the industry. We don't do that.
What the offer is
VoxQuote Pro ($29/mo normally) is free forever for verified AU apprentices. Full features — voice quoting, unlimited sends, SMS + WhatsApp + email delivery, Stripe payment links, Xero export, the whole thing. Not a trial, not a discount; just free.
How verification works
At signup, tick the "I'm an apprentice" box. We verify via your TAFE enrolment email or your Training Contract details. Takes under 2 minutes. The free tier applies until you complete your apprenticeship, at which point you stay on Free or upgrade to a paid tier — your choice.
Why we do it
Honest answer: apprentices who use VoxQuote through their training years become tradies who default to VoxQuote when they go solo. We'd rather have 1,000 apprentices today who become 1,000 paid sole traders in five years than charge them $29/mo today and lose them.
Less-honest answer: it feels right. Every other tool in this category makes apprentices pay the same as established operators. We don't think that's how the industry should work.
